On 12 July, Live at Our Place presents a genre-blending night of modern jazz, hip-hop, and experimental pop. Max Sergeant opens the concert with a set of gospel-tinged jazz originals, written over the past four years and brought to life with expressive, modern flair. Hessel Du Mark follows with a high-impact hip-hop performance, raw, emotional, and packed with sharp wordplay. To close, Hessel du Mark teams up with Oskar Billy for a back-to-back set, blending experimental pop, rap, and unreleased tracks into an electrifying finale.

ABOUT HESSEL DU MARK
The Frisian-Nigerian rapper possesses a creative spirit and expressive power that refuses to conform to the artistic climate in the Netherlands. Hessel Du Mark is an explosion of energy, bars, and entertainment, delivering a unique sound to Dutch music lovers. He is a rare synergy, an artist who completely loses himself in his craft, both in the creative process and on stage. The emotions Hessel evokes are as explosive as the reality we collectively inhabit. Time and again, he manages to capture the human experience in a way that is entirely his own.
With a strong live portfolio, including performances at venues and events like Melkweg, Vincent Op Vrijdag, Rollende Keukens, Mensen Zeggen Dingen, SOHO HOUSE Berlin, ADE, WORM, Ekko, P3, Meervaart Theater, and Museum Night—Hessel Du Mark’s hip-hop brings life to the party and unmatched vibes, wherever he performs.
