This marathon performance is set in a world of adventure, where a group of talented improvisational actors and musicians work together to bring an ongoing story to life – all night long. The Improvathon consists of a series of 'episodes': after each performance of 1 hour and 45 minutes there is a short break and a new chapter begins in the compelling story. Yes, the performers play 1 story for 14 hours. The show is completely unscripted, meaning that every scene and dialogue is created on the spot. This makes the Improvathon a true theatre spectacle in which spontaneity and creativity are central.

Night-time theatre expedition
The setting of Treehouse NDSM forms the backdrop for this nocturnal theatre expedition. The show is full of humour, drama and unexpected twists as the players - challenged by the lack of sleep and the intensity of the marathon - delve deeper into the story. Audiences can choose to watch one episode, follow multiple episodes or experience the entire night. All players and audience members present until the end will conclude the Improvathon All-Nighter with a communal breakfast.

The Improvathon is a collaboration between Amsterdam's Flock Theatre and The Pretend Company from the UK. This event brings the energy of live improvisational theatre in a way you won't find anywhere else - an unforgettable evening full of surprises and creativity.

Alle spelers en publieksleden die tot het einde aanwezig zijn sluiten de Improvathon All-Nighter af met een gezamenlijk ontbijt.
